Parlour Players Privacy Policy

The Parlour Players are committed to protecting personal information that we collect from members and customers.  Our Privacy Policy relates to our use of any personal information we collect from you as a Member or a customer of the Parlour Players. 

Members

We collect the following personal data from members when they complete an application form for membership:  name, address, telephone number(s) and email address if available.  This information is retained on file as part of a Membership Directory only available to members.  The information is used for communication purposes only and is not shared with any third parties.  We will use your data to send you newsletters, letters or emails to give you details of shows, rehearsals, auditions and similar events that are likely to be of interest to you.

Your name and photograph may appear in our show programmes, rehearsal/publicity photos and our newsletters. For members taking part in productions, we may also take your photograph and ask you for some biographical details, and also take photos during rehearsals which may appear on our web site.  Any data which appears in our programmes or on our web site are available to all and are thus public documents.

We will retain this information indefinitely even after you cease to be an active member, in case you rejoin in the future.  If you are leaving the Parlour Players, you can request that your personal data is deleted from our database by contacting the Secretary.

Box Office

We collect the following personal data from customers when they purchase tickets either by phone, post, or online:  name, address, telephone number(s) and email address if available.  This information is used for administrative purposes and is shared with TicketSource who manage the booking system online.

Customers’ data will be deleted after the event has finished.

General

These uses are in our ‘Legitimate Interest’ and we will not share your information with any other third parties without your consent.

You have the right to request a copy of all the personal information we hold about you.. We will take all reasonable steps to confirm your identity before providing you with details of any personal information we may hold about you.

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time; for example, to keep it up to date or to comply with legal requirements. If there will be any significant changes made to the use of your personal information in a manner different from that stated, we will seek your permission first.
